
A quick and easy recipe for fried plantains.
Peel a ripe plantain.
Take your plantain and cut it. Many people like to cut their plantains at a sort of side angle to get a bigger chip, but you can also cut them straight on.
Spray your pan with cooking spray. (I used coconut oil spray.)
Turn your stove on to medium heat and let your pan heat up.
Lay your plantain chips down flat onto your pan and let them cook until the side that is flat down turns yellow.
When one side turns a deeper yellow color, flip the chip over and cook it until it too turns to a deeper yellow shade.
Once both sides are deep yellow, remove from heat and serve.
